A four-page handwritten letter from Sgt. Douglas Flack to "Folks," most likely written in Owi Island, NEI.

Sgt. Flack writes that he received some packages containing tobacco, an envelope of newspaper clippings, a folder of cartoons, a pipe from "Betty Davis," and a box of candy from "Ronnie."

Sgt. Flack requests that they not send newspaper clippings about the war, as he is able to keep up with the news through radio transmissions.

Sgt. Flack discusses his work schedule and states that this is his last day of working throughout the night.

Sgt. Flack reveals that his friends call him "Ack-Ack."
