A four-page handwritten letter from Sgt. Douglas Flack to "Folks," most likely written in Owi Island, NEI.

Sgt. Flack writes that he has enclosed a Japanese dictionary that he found in a cave where Japanese men had been hiding a few days previously. In addition to the dictionary he found a records book of a particular Japanese outfit which contained valuable intelligence.

Sgt. Flack notes that he sent home 320 gulden, which is approximately 170 dollars.

Sgt. Flack requests cans of unpopped popcorn and some handkerchiefs.
