Subject

Correspondence (personal)

Description

A two-page handwritten letter from Sgt. Douglas Flack to "Folks." This letter was written "somewhere in the South Pacific," most likely in July 1944.

Sgt. Flack writes that he has a new APO, and that while he cannot explicitly state where he is, he does "get plenty of swimming."

Sgt. Flack notes that he has received their package and the camera, and that he's "getting some very fine shots." He's having trouble keeping the film from spoiling.

Sgt. Flack reminisces about a time he broke a plate glass window after hearing about "Ronnie" also breaking a window.
